So far so good. Andy was able to email me easily the past two days, and he can receive my text messages on his cell phone. All I have to do is tell him I’ve sent an email and he can check. (He doesn’t leave the computer connected to the internet when he’s not using it.)
Fingers crossed that our system continues to work. We will keep testing it for a while to see how reliable it is, but so far it’s a relief to have two-way communication.

great news, I would do that daily – it then becomes a habit as such….
We’re planning to do that, not just so it’s a habit, but to check reliability. At the moment Andy and I aren’t in touch. I sent him a text saying “email”, but he hasn’t answered the email I sent him. The adventure continues.
For some reason they hadn’t completed the paperwork for the installation so I spent some time with them getting that straightened out. And they say we’ve already used 1 GB, but when I phoned about that the gal said that might have been when the technician was using it to set things up. So we will see.
