Sometimes old habits die hard. The most horrifying example I’ve heard is the couple whose car ran over a downed high-voltage line. They were told if they just jumped off onto the ground without touching the outside of the car they would be fine. The woman made it fine, and so did the fellow — until he instinctively turned around and slammed the door shut. Oops!
Have you ever been tripped up by an old habit?

I haven’t been tripped up by an old habit … Yet, give me some time, it’ll happen!!
Fingers crossed that it won’t happen. 🙂
I would venture to say she’s been tripped up by little todd on occasion!
LOLOL!
i’m sorry. it’s just a picture that came to me. like montana…
he’s everywhere! he’s everywhere! 🙂
I have so many bad habits…
most originating in my mouth.
and yes. i’m constantly tripped up by them!
great cartoon!!
One report says 86,000 people a year go to the ER from accidents involving their pets. It’s not just tripping over them, though, it’s also being pulled while walking them. breaking up fights, tripping over their bowls or toys, etc. Most pet owners think the risk is worth it. 🙂
It seems like my life is just a string of old habits sometimes.
But I’m working on cutting that string.
Yep…
Must get back to my projects!
Just wanted to drop by on this “official” day of Valentines
and say Thanks! for being you. i.e., love ya.
xoxo
Thank you for coming by! Good luck with your projects. 🙂
I’m not sure if any particular habit has tripped me up…I’m sure if I spent a year thinking about it – something would come up in very “bright lights” – most of my habits are just part of my life, ” I thinnnnnnnnnnnk”
It sounds as if your habits are working fine for you. You would notice if they weren’t. 🙂
