I’m afraid I agree with Earl, not Opal. I figure we should do the best we can with what we have (left) and hope for the best.

I do not agree – but then again it depends on how you view the world you want to be part of – currently and in the future…
You agree with Opal?
Always so funny, Jean. Love to have my chuckle of the day…sets me up!
I love good cartoons too. 🙂
LOL!
that earl.
i do like him.
Me too!
I agree with Earl and also you too.
I love his relaxed attitude. 🙂
Nowadays everyone is being told, you can be whatever you want, just work harder!
While I think that’s definitely true in many cases, it also makes people feel bad if they are not the VERY best or making pots of money or if they aren’t always striving to reach higher.
While a person can rise above their gene pool, they need to understand their limitations and/or at least slow down and enjoy the ride.
At least that’s what I’ve been thinking about myself lately.
That I’m so zoned in on the future that I’m not enjoying the present and it seems to be paralyzed my productivity. Which is silly and frustrating.
(I think too much and just need to do, I guess.)
So, I agree with both.
If we don’t enjoy the process we’re sabotaging ourselves.
“What’s good about my life? What needs to be done? How can I get this done and enjoy the process?”
