Andy said it was a lot nicer inside than out up on the land yesterday. But the two young deer in the pictures he took from inside the living room didn’t seem to mind.

what a gorgeous scene – even if it is looking a tad cold…
It was nice and warm inside. 🙂
Great photographs. How nice to be able to see them in their natural habitat.
Andy sees them a lot. They keep their distance, but they’re not afraid of him. He got the camera when one was watching him and didn’t budge when he got up and started walking around.
how beautiful.
and to know that it didn’t snow so much that they couldn’t get some food.
no wonder he loves it so up there!
Yes, he does love that place. 🙂
It looks cold, but very beautiful! The deer do not appear to be the least bit concerned about the photographer being so near!
They’re used to him by now. When all three of them are outside they watch to make sure he doesn’t get too close, but they don’t hurry out of the way. They probably like all the clover and wildflowers he has sown.
What great photos! It was probably a great day for a fire. It is snowing here now-happy April!
It was about 68 or 69 when he got up there, so a fire would have been too much. He used the electric heater.
The deer don’t seem to mind, and they never seem to complain — What’s with that? 🙂
Andy says they recognize he’s too old and slow to be harmful. I’m convinced they like the clover he’s sown.

Oh! I love seeing the deer.
So peaceful.
and the clover? that makes me smile.
Lovely.
xoxoxo
We love that clover too. Wonder if will look that lush this year? We will let you know. 🙂
