A couple of weeks ago, my daughter picked up her car after it had been repaired, only to discovered that a whole pack of a special gum she likes had been chewed. On Facebook, her friends teased her that her car had been repaired using chewing gum. Who knows? Maybe they were right?

In the olden days, my father once sealed a leaking radiator (in his Model A car) with chewing gum. It worked!
I asked Andy if he ever used chewing gum to repair his Model T but he said no. I was surprised. I’ve heard that it was sometimes used.
