Well, if it’s any consolation, little tree. Your dream may not have come true but at least you are serving a vital function by absorbing some of the pollution we humans create. So thanks for that. And all those hapless car drivers, stuck in a traffic jam, will take pleasure when resting their weary eyes on you. See, it’s not all bad.
I still feel sorry for the poor little tree. But there won’t be as much pollution along the road as more people switch to electric cars, which should offer it some relief.
I still vote for electric, at-least-partially self-driving cars. Kaitlin and Torben recently bought a Tesla, part of the wave of the future. Insurance companies are already trying to figure out how they will handle the fact that there will be a lot fewer accidents, and that the manufacturers rather than the drivers will need the insurance.
I’m with Ursula and Tammy – even though the tree would rather be in a park/home – it does get far more views, it’s been planted with purpose and hopefully it will be provided with ongoing council gardening care. Serving mankind etc…
At first I thought it was very sad
and then I thought about how I LOVE driving down a tree lined street.
Little tree brings beauty to an otherwise barren landscape.
🙂

Cheer up,
green and leavy greetings,

Yes. 🙁
I like what Ursula said. and what she said is true.
and I HAVE to think that way or it is just too sad!

It is healthier to look on the bright side, no doubt about that.

Yes, they will no doubt plant more trees so it will have company and the area will get nicer and nicer as the trees grow. 🙂
Every forest starts with one tree, famous quote, by anon.
Yes, I felt sorry for the tree because it was all alone. But of course they’ll probably plant a lot more so it will have company.
