ditto ursula!
I have personally always liked weeds. many of them have beautiful flowers.
I think dandelions are lovely. and I hear they’re good in a salad!
We were thrilled to see any and all weeds after the fire. Now Andy cuts down the “pricker bushes”along the paths where we walk. They’re pretty, but their thorns are painful.
obviously you need to think “herbs” and grow them for salad ingredients…
I love weeds, I also love grass – that isn’t manicured to a short, short length…I love the way some plants, just grow without the aid of anything extra…like your wild-weed patch.
Maybe Andy could do “wild-flowers” here you can buy packets of seeds for just such an area.
And aren’t those “weeds” pretty, with their life affirming sun shine yellow heads.

Yes! Weeds are one of my role models. 🙂
Judging from the location of the hose, it looks like you watered them well!
Andy only watered the tomatoes. The weeds did fine all on their own.

I always identified with skunk cabbages, especially coming up through cracks in the sidewalk. They don’t have to be beautiful for me to admire them.
I have never been able to figure out why weeds are considered to be ‘bad’!

We have bought wildflower seeds, and Andy has sowed them around the house and shed. The birds love them but some manage to escape and grow.
