This poor fellow is way out of his comfort zone. I’ve been there myself at times, and no doubt will be there again some day. I don’t have a rubber ducky, but I do have a teddy bear — just in case.
My sister gave me a little framed quote –
“Life begins outside of your comfort zone”.
I know what she was trying to tell me but…
I don’t have a rubber ducky nor a teddy bear.
If you go far out you need some support!
LOL!
maybe he’s a happy non conformist.
He looks a bit scared/overwhelmed to me. 🙂
We love our comfort zones, but after awhile, we become bored. It’s human nature to wander out of comfort zones and into a place that offers more challenge and change. Unfortunately, it also offers discomfort!
It’s nice to have some say how far out we go!
I keep my comfort zones comfortable by leaving them on jaunts frequently.
It’s nice to have some variety.
I’m certainly a path of leaving a comfort zone – even if the zone hasn’t been all that comfortable of many years. I think we get into a rut, it starts out as a comfort, then suddenly (well not in terms of how long-wise) we realise what has happened – and it’s time to “stop” whatever or “move outside the lines”
One of my friends (not living in Auckland now) said something along the lines of “you decided to retire from University study, you turned 65 (retirement age here in NZ), now you’ve moving to a new place…I know that what is the saying of doing it in 3s… but what now are you going to get into” 🙂
I’m enjoying your adventure. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Breaking out of the comfort zone is rejuvenating but a teddy bear does help a lot 🙂
Yes, it pays to have our support system. 🙂
