Just as I was warming up to the idea of maybe, just maybe, a DOG you have put me off. I can see it now. I bet they love chewing books. Probably the ones I am most attached to.
As to laces. And nothing to do with dogs. One of the hurdles of launching your child into the world so they can stand on their own feet (minus the velcro) I wasn’t looking forward to: How to teach him to do up his laces. Pre school. Tying laces is one of those auto pilot things you do without thinking how you do it. UNTIL you have to TEACH it. Luckily the Angel was, and is, quick on the uptake: “Let ME do it, Mama”. So no sweat (for either of us).
Lucky Snoopy, not knowing what shoelaces are for. They may be attractive to look at but they’re very impractical. When I’m trying to undo them they get knotted and when I’ve tied them up they come undone. Velcro is still a rarity on shoes though.
Jean, I hadn’t even replied to “shoe laces” but I’ve got all the comments arriving in the inbox – maybe that was the teething problem…I will have see what occurs now.
Err, a few things are missing from the shift, but some of that happened when the guys would say “where does this box go?” and assuming the 3 others they picked up in one swoop went the same place. So that somewhat deeply packed piles need attn…
We’ve lived in this apartment for over 40 years and would feel overwhelmed if we had to move.
No, the comments you’re getting was because I signed you up on that post to show that “Subscribe to Comments” works now. I put off working on it for so long because I knew it would be a major hassle. I was not disappointed! 🙂

U
Dogs do need more attention than cats do. No doubt about it.
Chutki did not ever chew up or eat what was not to be eaten when she was growing up. She was and is a perfect lady!
That’s amazing! That’s more than could be said of me. 🙂
i love snoopy!
he’s just so logical. 😀
Yes, he’s my role model for being irrepressible.
I love that dog! I think he is the most expressive of all of the Charlie Brown characters!
I feel that way too!

I have shoes with velcro. They are a lot more convenient.
well, you most likely know what I’m going to say!
I’m not worried about shoelaces
it’s the SOCKS that I fret over!
😉 😉 😉
I thought of you when I wrote this post. 🙂 I’m glad Blue is better.

my guys seemed very strong!
and I don’t think a “dog” ate the things…
