The Next Vice President

One fellow says we should base our vote on who the next vice president would be. He says it doesn’t matter whether Clinton or Trump gets elected, either way the new president will be impeached within eighteen months.

Even if that were true, the question would still be,

How much damage can one person do in eighteen months?

We will just have to see.

    Predicting impeachment doesn’t make sense.

Impeachment is difficult. Even then, removal from office after impeachment requires conviction by the Senate. Death in office, from whatever cause, is far more likely.

I got home from Tulsa too late to watch the vice pres debate.
no election should be two years long. this thing has gone on forever.
I think people are so worn out from all the nastiness and empty talk that they just want it to be OVER. I know I do!

I turned it on (online) for less than a minute. Apparently Pence was the better debater, but Trump isn’t too pleased because he didn’t defend Trump enough. I’m pretty good at ignoring it all. There are a lot more interesting things to spend my time and attention on. 🙂

I hope you had a good time in Tulsa.

No comments. I am however watching and listening.

I don’t really understand it all but it’s interesting seeing what bloggers/news people have to say on the matter. Much of it, I am not keeping up with the flow so I hear something but it makes no sense, because I’ve not heard whatever went before 🙂

You’re not missing that much. For tomorrow’s post you need to understand that Trump wants to build a wall to keep immigrants coming in from Mexico. And he wants Mexico to pay for it.

    I watched it.
    Pence was smooth.
    Very calm and Presidential.
They say he was careful what he said so that he can run himself next time.
They also speculated that Trump might not like the spotlight on someone other than himself.
Kaine seemed very busy defending Hillary but I liked what he had to say about Social Security.
Apparently Pence has been a strong supporter of privatizing SS and that worries me as that will be my sole means of support when I retire.
