SNL stands for Saturday Night Live. Here’s how they parodied the last debate:
I seldom watch SNL, but a lot of people do. I often watched Jay Leno’s monologues on the Tonight Show until he was replaced, and I was amused to read that a large number of people keep up with current events entirely from the jokes on late night television. Does that horrify you, or do you think they’re spending their time wisely?

It’s not horrifying. I’m not sure that humor on late night is any worse than the narrow focus that the mainstream media gives to the campaign.
At least they lighten up the news. I prefer cartoons because they donβt waste my time and good ones make their point powerfully.
I guess as long as people are somehow informed, I guess it’s okay… But I watch both – I love to see the lighter side of this whole thing. Now I have to watch this skit, I missed it. π
One does have to decide how much time one spends trying to follow the news. I must say, I didn’t spend much time following the campaign, except for Trump. I read a lot of articles about why a lot of people supported him. It’s about more than just this campaign, it’s about fundamental changes in the U.S.
And yes, I love to look at the lighter side, too. π
I have always loved impersonators. especially good ones.
and these two have NAILED it! voice inflections and style. very funny really!
the whole campaign has degraded into something of a joke anyway.
I agree about them nailing it. π
video content “not available” here…but then again that’s okay, because the comments here, reveal it almost all anyway.
Cartoons are safer than video clips. I’m sorry they won’t let you see it.
