A Non-Corrupt Politician

Not all politicians are corrupt. Some are just boring.

What a welcome relief.

I noticed how Charlyn puts on that soft, ingratiating, non-threatening feminine voice. Rather phoney, I thought.

    yes.
at this point boring might be good.
the only reason at all that i’m voting this year is to honor the brave suffragettes and what they endured just so that I could have the right to vote. for that alone it’s worth it.

I get great pleasure out of voting. Probably because the people at the polling station are so friendly and because even if I don’t like the choices, at least I’m allowed to do it. The funny thing is I go there because I should and forget the thrill of it ahead of time. It surprises me.

This one made me laugh! If only all politicians had a sense of humor. Of course it was the wife being funny not the politician himself. But he had to approve the ad, didn’t he?

    • Jean says:

He was being funny too. I’m sure they thought about what he would say, especially when he says, “You know, I think I like helping around the house here.” 😀

lots of fun…a bit like a woman whose husband retires from his corporate life, gets under his wife’s feet so much, including why she is out so much, when she should be home tending to his very needs – to a point where wife implores said man to go back to work, as she doesn’t need him breathing down her neck!
