I agree with the dog. On the other hand, even the humble banana consists of over 50 all-natural ingredients, which would make an equally long list. Not to mention large quantities of glucose and fructose to add to our excessive sugar intake.
It reminds me of comedian Andy and I saw years ago. He said never eat fresh fruit because you don’t know what’s in it. When you eat a Pop Tart they tell you exactly what the ingredients are. We both laugh when we remember it.
It could well be Chutki who prefers freshly cooked food over packaged dog food!
Smart dog! 🙂
ain’t that the truth though! human OR animals! 😀
Agreed!
Even if it has few ingredients if they are ones I cannot easily pronounce I’m not sure I want to eat it.
It does pay to look some of them up.

like your Pop Tart scenario and Nick’s “banana”
what gets to me is the serving sizes – that are on packages – sometimes you wonder if they could say convert the sizing portion into a grm/oz/other.
Yes, they often make the sizes smaller than people usually eat so the calories don’t seem so bad.
No kidding! Especially if ingredients can’t even be pronounced!
It’s a nice reminder to buy less processed food.
