I thought your glockenspiel was a xylophone.
Are they the same but just different names?
(must Google this)
but on a side note I’ve seen where people are buying “glockenspiels”
and turning them on their sides and nailing them up for chickens to come up and peek and play them!

Thanks to you, I looked it up. I thought they were just different names for the same instrument, but a xylophone’s bars are made of wood, while the glockenspiel’s are metal plates or tubes.
I think it’s ingenious to let chickens use them. 😀
A bit more trivia — xylo is from the Greek word for wood. Glocken is German for bell.
