😀 I do.
but then I never had a problem with my dog sleeping on my bed.
yes. you might have to wash the cover more often… but it was worth it.
the only time that zeke got IN the bed and not on top of it was one winter during an ice storm. we lost electricity for 7 days. by the end of it the thermostat said it was 39 degrees in my little cottage.
I decided it was time to try to find somewhere to go. (the marine was out of town!) and just then… the lights and the central heat came on!!! YAY!!!
zeke had kept me WARM. we just cuddled up together under piles of blankets and quilts. it was a one dog night! I mean a one dog WEEK!!!
My situation is flipped.
I come home and the dogs are waiting at the door
(It’s actually a half door into the room where they stay)
But one day I came home super early and found Blue laying on the bed with his chin propped up the windowsill, just staring outside.
He was so startled to see me!
and he jumped down immediately.
An electric car wouldn’t matter in our case
as he can’t hear a thing.

Wow! That was one long week!
I do. Chutki does not sleep on my bed but does on Ranjan’s and Manjiree’s bed. She charges down to greet me when she hears me open the front door.
🙂
I do, too. I’ve never owned my own dog, and family dogs were outside dogs, but I’ve been snuck up on by electric cars.
I have yet to see an electric car, but sooner or later…. 🙂
also electric bikes…they seem to glide along
I’ve never seen one of those either. I really do live out in the sticks, don’t I? 🙂
