Very clever indeed.
🙂
definitely an adventure – how long did Tempi stay upstairs, he came down smarter than most of us would…
Kaitlin and Andy were up there and Tempi stayed until she started to eat the insulation and Kaitlin had Torben call her back down. I later let her go up again on a leash. I took the leash off when she went down because I didn’t want to mess her up. She does go down more quickly and gracefully than I do!
ohmygosh. that’s really amazing. I’ve heard that’s one of the hardest things to teach them to do … especially with ‘air’ behind each step… like a ladder.
and she just DID IT! and so fast too!
she’s an amazing little girl. now if she just didn’t eat what she’s not supposed to up there! LOLOL.
The amazing thing is no one taught her. We were afraid she would hurt herself coming down. Instead she practiced on a few steps, climbing up, turning around, and walking down, until she felt comfortable. Then she added a couple more steps and practiced more. That’s what impresses me so much. I know a lot of humans who don’t know how to break a process down into manageable pieces. Yay, Tempi!
Whoa!
That is amazing!
My basement steps are open but not that steep.
Only a couple of the dogs will go down them, which is good
because the cat boxes are in the basement.
But NONE of them would do THAT!
Amazing Tempi!
😀
xoxoxoxo
We think she has some Treeing Walker Coonhound in her. But I agree, that is impressive!
