when I first had my little cottage built… it was in a very wooded area.
the developer had cleared the land.
all the little creepy crawlies had their habitat ruined. so sad really.
but those first two years I had so many tarantulas and scorpions that I very nearly thought like earl says… “sell the house and move!”
wow Tammy, I would have sold up for sure…espccially if it was here, because neither of those beasties are even here to start with – you would make headlines for months if you were the first to sight them!
Oddly enough, spiders don’t really freak me out.
Maybe if it’s a tarantula but I kinda think a cat or Nora would take it out.
But I do kill them if it looks like a wolf spider or something.
Spider bites can be bad news, to people and to pets.
But I wouldn’t move.
Now if it was a snake?
I’d move out on the spot and never return.
I mean, I would if I survived.
I might just have a heart attack over a snake.
I might think of moving if there were enough spiders. I remember a Time Magazine article years ago about a new subdivision in the town I grew up in. Every time they watered their lawns the rattlesnakes would come out! Yuck!
Exactly!
Earl is a great role model. 🙂

Wow! I would have thought the same thing too!

I’m with you! Do you have any things as nasty as them in NZ?
