Not too much down here, and it started melting right away. But there were 6-8 inches on top of ice up in the mountains. Andy had to put chains on the Jeep (took about an hour) and drive slowly, so it took him 2 1/2 hours instead of the usual hour to get up to the house. He had lunch, spent about 2 1/2 hours plowing the roads, and drove home. It was another slow trip, partly because of the dense fog as he got closer to town.
I’m afraid I’m more like Hobbes than Calvin:
What about you?

Ditto.
🙂
unless I have to (& I’m not reflecting on snow), I don’t go out on wet and cold days…rather stay warm/cosy at home; I’ve got “soft” in my vintage years 🙂
I’ve gotten soft, too. Years ago I would take a walk every day whatever the weather. No longer.
I can’t remember the last time I went outside. It’s winter in Minnesota and I am old and decrepit. 🙂
Sounds smart to me!
just call me hobbes. 😀
I’m with you!
Me too.
