Children are not only cute, they are so sweet, their sense of the world so pure. Reminds me of a long time ago when we were out in the garden and I suggested to my siblings we’d play hide and seek. So they hid and I counted (very slowly) to ten and then “tried” to find them. Being a good older sister I ignored all hints their innocent selves had left in their trail, and delighted them how “long” it took me to locate them. My youngest sister proved a right challenge, mainly to not burst out laughing. There she was, her tiny little self, in the middle of the lawn, highly visible to anyone but the blind, covering her eyes. Never shall I forget. It was almost heartbreaking. Having signalled to the other two to not give the game away, I wandered round and round looked behind one bush, then another, “mystified” and muttering to myself (audibly): “Wonder where Cornelia is …”. She’d covered her eyes because, naturally, if she couldn’t see anything then how could anyone see her? Her logic was beguiling.
how absolutely adorable.
both the little color~blind beautifully buzz cut boys…
and ursula’s little sister hidden~in~plain~sight cornelia!
that special part of children is what we love.
