yesterday late arvo – I found out that “not filling in that driveway gap” was a blessing – and that it will need more thought on dealing with it…why?
well it poured with rain here and as I watched the water rushing down the driveway realised that when it met the gap before the concrete slab – it took a hard L and rode on down through that gap – taking with it much muddy water – flowing onwards to the bottom of the driveway (not my bit).
I think I need to redefine the water course so it shoots sideways towards the fence and continues undisturbed and just disappears through a gap in the fence and into a wasteland piece…
it would make sense to do that with some slabs of concrete the sort you buy at the garden store for say “stepping stones”… – that would mean I would reroute the water[-shoot 🙂
🙂 How deep is the snow?
It’s mostly melted here.
🙂
🙂
Hope it was a soft landing!
Fingers crossed!
