I’m Glad I’m Not a Rocket Scientist…

in North Korea.

The timing was a deep embarrassment for the North’s leader, Kim Jong-un, because the missile appeared to have been launched to show off his daring as a fleet of American warships approached his country to deter provocations.
North Korean Missile Launch Fails, and a Show of Strength Fizzles

I would be very nervous right now if I were associated with the failure. In fact, I’m glad I’m not anyone in North Korea. Another reason to thank our lucky stars.

I would think by now, there isn’t a scientist of that calling there…still running for the high hills. Sadly this type of invention isn’t not of worthiness in any normal human being…

it’s a very dangerous thing that he has ‘lost face’ in such a way now.
I hope he’s not reading all of our press that’s commenting on it!
that will make it even worse.
as if his haircut isn’t bad enough! đŸ™‚
an entire starving country of people being held hostage in their own land by a madman. sad in the extreme.

It’s scary. He’s not about to give up his nuclear weapons because they give him too much power, and apparently China is dragging its feet on applying pressure to North Korea because it’s angry about the U.S. trying to give South Korea an advanced anti-missile defense system. Why do they care? The explanation I’ve read is the system has good radar and could give the U.S. information about Chinese missiles if there’s a future conflict between China and the U.S.

As Trump would say, who would have guessed it’s so complicated?

Quite what Kim will do now is anybody’s guess but do something sensational, he will. That part of the world is in grave peril due to that lunatic.

all very, very sad – mankind just doesn’t understand that life for all is so VIP – a peaceful life – these weapons and the people with the weapons make me wonder why life has become just like the ancestors – forever fighting for something that seems not to be obtainable…

    a “greed” with capital letters…

(me thinking about the vikings, the knights, and all the other characters from the very long ago past…)
