The interesting thing is a lot of the precipitation we received last winter was rain, not snow. This month it’s been the opposite. We’re grateful for any precipitation we get, whatever form it takes!

We are having some wild weather on the Pacific Northern coast as well. The temperature is finally beginning to creep up a bit. I’m hoping we will have a typical summer this year!
We prefer cool summers. I wilt in the heat.
april is our only wet month. and we got some rain last night.

We used to get a rainy season in July and August — it was heavenly. With the drought all bets are off.
you are all in such large landmasses but here as you know we are not ever completely shielded from the events, conditions and earth related scenarios.
since 2000 there have been all sorts of inconvenient events, although weather isn’t always an ongoing factor. I can’t understand at times why cyclones (hurricanes/tornados) have to shoot to us – there’s a whole big wide ocean betw us and Sth America!
I believe the city water reservoirs are at a good level although on saying that they weren’t build for our now growing-too-big populace…
