Andy, Orlando and Larry did a lot of roadwork this past weekend. Andy left the house at 7 Friday and Saturday mornings, returned home 6:30 pm Friday, 7:30 pm Saturday. Sunday was a bit easier, he left at 7 am and was back by 5.
We’re going up for a picnic supper today so I can see the changes.

It looks like some real changes are happening!
Part of it was routine maintenance, part of it improving the roads. It is a lot nicer.

They wouldn’t have been able to do it by hand. Machinery changes everything.
As it turns out we went straight up after Andy got back from his ultrasound — shortly before 2:30 — and got back at 6 for dinner here. It was a good trip, we had a bit of rain and sunshine too. And it was comfortably cool for walking.

A big project! It looks like the road had a clay (or dirt) base. Wondering if they intend to cover it with gravel .
I have a feeling gravel is way more than we can afford. They are long roads.
