Andy talked to the gal at the office Friday about the TV antenna. He said we understand why they don’t want us tromping on the roof, but did they have a list of acceptable people we might hire to put the antenna back up? She said they thought the antennas were so old they no longer worked, but would talk to the property manager. Andy said the antenna has worked for the past 40 years but just got knocked over by the wind.
Monday morning when he was leaving there were two guys working on the problem. Andy came inside, checked the reception, and and told the guys it was fine. Then he went over to thank the office for doing it.
Wouldn’t it be nice if all problems were so easily solved?
andy is such a gentleman. and it probably had to do as much with his patient
and kind request as anything. I’m SO GLAD for you that they fixed it!
Yes, the kind request no doubt helped a lot. We’re glad it’s fixed too!
Mathew 7:7
As long as the people are friendly and that the request is easy to fulfill.
That’s a relief. So glad it’s done! I know you don’t use your TV a lot, but it’s good to have it available when you want it.
Yes it is a relief. ๐
nice one, but interesting how the lass in the office thought it was too ancient to actually work – so much of our new gadget/widgets do not last the distance at all….
The antennas do look beat up, so it wasn’t an unreasonable assumption. She probably thinks we old folks are useless too. ๐
Itโs nice that it happened so easily.
My tv uses an antenna too.
I wonโt get cable, I think I watch too much already!
