Andy had a busy day yesterday, watering the daffodils and fruit trees in our old greenhouse area and down in the orchard, checking to be sure water was getting to Beate’s rose bush, and planting a plum tree down in the orchard. After he finished and shut off the water he had to switch various valves to be sure all the water drained out because he’s still in winter mode.
This is the Garmin map after we downloaded his logging points. The points are about 30 seconds to a minute apart, so you can see when he drove (points further apart) and when he walked (points close together).
How cool is that!
I love the Garmin. It sends tracking points every 10 minutes (tracking points get sent, logging points are on the device). So on that snowy day we had recently when he wasn’t home 45 minutes after the time he said he would be, I didn’t have to worry. I could check to see that he was already on the main highway so was safe. Information like that is priceless.
oh my. priceless indeed!
worth any and every penny! xo
Yes! One of the best things we’ve ever bought.
agree
Viva modern tech.
Yes. The logging points we can see when he gets home are fun. The tracking points that I can see if he’s in trouble are invaluable.
I enjoy these reports on the Garmin—great technology!
It’s made for people like us and we’re grateful.
