yes rain helps for sure…but is the rain at the fire-site. Thunder and lightning here along with really heavy rain here last night, but today the sun is out…again.
Most probably, it’s at a higher altitude and that usually means more rain.
I call that BEAUTIFUL! just the thought of it raining for you.
and surely like you say it will help the fire fighting.
is this the area they were re-doing at the apts? if it is it looks good.
I am so refreshed by rain. just seeing it in the picture makes everything better!
XO
Yes, this is where the abandoned swimming pool was. They’re also building a shelter, with gas grills, I think. They’re still working on it:
They are trying to make it nice.
oh that’s all good at apts, keeping up with the trends of what people will use…and with the shelter, no one needs to be sweltering hot, whilst grilling etc…
People used to use charcoal grills on our porches, but a couple of years ago they were banned because of the fire danger. The propane (assuming I am correct that they are doing this) is a lot safer for grilling. It’s all very interesting. π
oh the mountains beyond! what a wonderful view.
I love where you live.
I love that picture too. It warms my heart. π
Good luck with the rain. Our monsoon has set in and with it the temperatures and tempers have come down. I for one am delighted to have my favourite season back.
Yes, I’ve noticed your temperatures have dropped and am happy for you.
I hope that the rain did some good. Fires are so dreadful, especially under drought conditions.
We are in northern Minnesota wishing for drier conditions. Fire danger is LOW. It is too rainy, muggy, and buggy for us. I doubt if this will ever be a preferred vacation region for us.
I don’t envy you! One thing about our dry climate, we don’t have trouble with mosquitoes and other bugs.
So glad you got some rain! Our ‘dry season’ has set in, and we won’t see any welcome drops of moisture for months!
The rain is just temporary. Our rainy season used to be July and August, but not so much the past few years. Fingers crossed!
So glad you got rain!
Itβs hot and dry here.
We have a heat advisory through tomorrow
And then rain is forecasted.
I just hope itβs gone by the weekend!
Today was nice, but it will start warming up again tomorrow and get up to about 90 this weekend. Not our favorite kind of weather, but the last couple of weeks of June are usually the worst. Except things aren’t always “usual” any more. π Fingers crossed for us all.
