Eventually Andy will have to put the Christmas tree down lower than the roof, but this was not the year. He did agree it made sense to put it up while we were up there with him.
He won’t turn on the lights until December 19, our official time, and he will wait to take it down at least until Kaitlin, Torben, and the pups come in early January. If it’s too snowy on the roof then he will wait until it’s safe.
Thanks again for the pictures, Torben!

BRAVO Andy!
and thanks to your pictures Monk we get to enjoy the tradition!
but I’m so relieved he’s doing it in safe conditions and with the buddy system. it only makes good sense for anybody. and it’s the only smart way to be up on a high roof! IMHO of course. š
Yes, he is impressive! Notice that Kaitlin, Torben, and I didn’t get up on the roof with him, although Kaitlin did bring the tree to the top of the ladder. LOL!
all good – thanks…and we look forward to hearing about the “lights” being seen – and the safe removal of said tree later on….
I will let you know!
Good show!
Thanks!
What a great introduction to the Halloween and later festivities. Thanks a lot for the photos.

I’m glad you enjoyed them. š
Wow, we want to see that when it is dark and all lit up. Mom might put our outside lights on the trees in the front if we get a bit of warmer weather. But we won’t light them until Thanksgiving Night.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
These are designed to be seen from a mesa across the valley. They won’t be as bright as yours! In fact to really see the lights you need binoculars, but some of our neighbors love it. A crazy idea, but that’s the fun of it.
