It was cold and snowy here yesterday.
Rummuser says he’s also having winter in Pune. Here are the forecasts for him in Fahrenheit and Celcius:
That’s quite a difference! I’m guessing neither one of us would trade with the other. Of course, it helps that the sun came out here today even though the temperature barely got above freezing in the heat of the day.
December 3, 2018
It’s cold and damp here, but our snow has disappeared:( Mom is happy, we are not.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I would be with your mom! The trouble with snow is it turns to ice so easily. I walk on ice as little as possible — it’s scary stuff.
an amazing range of temperatures from night to day! like our own deserts.
but that might be lovely perhaps. beautiful cool sleeping. and then bone warming temps during the day. I didn’t know it had such a range!
I’m afraid my bones don’t like being that warm! π
We’ve been so lucky so far, but today, we are told, the cold weather will hit! We won’t see snow for Christmas, and that’s okay with meβI have enough coping with the cold seeping into my bones! Just seeing your pictures of snow makes me shiver!
I spend most of my time inside, so it’s not so bad. Clearing off the cars is the worst when there’s a wind.
Cold here, 28
supposed to stay there all day
Next week we are going to have a warm up
and temps are to soar to 38 degrees.
:p
Oh well, this weather makes me love
SPRING that much more!
π
xo
Fingers crossed for you!
It’s cold here with a touch of frost but no snow as yet. Snow is actually quite rare now in the UK. I’m still enjoying the luxury of retirement and not having to trudge off to work at some ridiculously early hour of the morning!
I’ve been retired 25 years now and I still luxuriate in sleeping in. I seldom have to set an alarm.
it would be hard to judge temperatures here…estimated yes, but real time “not so much” – today I started out in leggings (leggings remained all day/same) but started with a t-shirt – got to bus station at hub, out with a long sleeved layer…took said layer off an hour or so later, as I was in a hot spot (no wind)…put layer on again because bus air-con on high…took layer off at beach front suburb…put layer on when back somewhere else (repeat).
back home inside, house closed up all day with some sun coming in – took all layers off and found just one layer – am just right now!
It’s hard when the temperature changes that much, and when you are out for the day without a car to put your various layers in. I would use a slightly bigger backpack — I haven’t used a purse in years and used to pack my groceries home from the store in my backpack.
I’ve got a kind of day back pack – it has all kinds of things stacked in it…for various circumstances. Not just layers!
I could do with a new one, as a couple of the zippers have their moments – but I can never find one that has the kind of pockets this one has…:-)
I sympathize with that … I have a couple of lightweight ones of the same style because they have the compartments I like and want to have a replacement when one wears out. I don’t trust the manufacturer not to “improve” it.
