Christmas is a season not only of rejoicing but of reflection.
—Winston Churchill
I think it’s fairly obvious the Christmas season is more a time of reflection than rejoicing/celebration for me. If you honor the season at all, which is it for you?
(I’m glad I’m in a reflective mood! The internet was down since last night and just came back on now. I was mentally preparing for it to last a couple of days, but it’s nice I don’t have to.)
December 27, 2018
It’s certainly a reflective time for me, especially with the New Year just around the corner. Time to take stock, and set new goals. I love doing this!
I used to love setting goals too, but now I don’t need to. See today’s post.
I hadn’t thought about it but it’s true. I do a lot of reflecting this time of year,
I have things about my inner self that I’m STILL working on! I suppose I will be til I take my last breath here. AAAGGGH! you’d think I’d have most of it done by now. nope. but… I always like an inner challenge apparently. š
A fine goal is working on your inner self is fun. š How boring would it be if we and life were always static?
I seem to be reflecting even more this year than in past years. I’m trying to get my life more in sync with my values.
That’s my main goal too.
with taking a new adventure, I only started thinking about reflection or 2019 when were discussing on the coach home, yesterdayl, when we were trying to work out which day/date it was š you lose track of those things, when you are travelling and the schedule is all worked out!
so now I have more time to think about stuff…unpacked my main bag, the washer is on. I will have to think about ordering some food but for now, nothing is on the agenda…
I imagine it was great to be home even if the trip was fun? I’m glad you went!
Iām trying to reflect.
To be honest, Iām having a bad case of not being able to see the Forest because of all the trees.
Iām hoping to get some rest today so some of these clouds might clear.
You’ve been overworking for a long time now, so it’s understandable you haven’t had time to rest and see the bigger picture. Good luck, we’re rooting for you!
