(Beate says their thermometer read 26°.)
Andy doesn’t think the trees will be damaged, but we won’t be getting any Gravenstein apples this year. It’s a harsh life up there.
On another note, here’s a picture of Tempi on the hour-long trip to the trauma center to see Zoe.
There’s a chance Zoe will be released sometime tomorrow.
May 21, 2019
a harsh mother nature yet again.
but…
oh that sweet Tempi. she will be glad to see her partner in crime!
I hope Zoe can come home tomorrow! xoxo
reading posts backwards…on Zoe; “snow…snow…wnow” what the heck…so maybe your country is catching our idea – 4 seasons in one day. We had that yesterday – I kept stripping of layers – I would suddenly realise hot sun blaring through window – layer off; then I would just cool down nicely when I would note, sun gone, cold-as – layer on…
tammy,
We will let you know. Fingers crossed.
Catherine,
This kind of weather was normal years ago. It will turn hot soon.
It certainly has been a crazy spring. Too bad about the apples. All paws still crossed for Zoe.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
As long as the trees survive it’s all right. Spring is always a gamble for fruit trees here. Thanks for the good wishes.
I’m shivering just looking at some of those low temperatures.
I bet Tempi will be glad to see Zoe. Hope they let Zoe go home
It’s going to warm up soon. I actually prefer the cold to the heat.
Yes, they can’t keep poor Zoe forever.
