Oh, my, what a big mouth he has. What is he (or she)?

  2. tammy j says:

actually… given this is a college town and all… this community is very quiet.
which I totally appreciate! especially the loud booming noise from their rap music. we have a lot of young people but they seem very considerate! 🙂
the ‘smoking’ is another issue however! still. I guess a person can’t have everything!!!

LOL, looks like that bird is giving the other one a piece of it’s mind.

  4. Mildred says:

What a fun photo! Pretty quiet here. We are near the saddle club so we see/hear a lot of horse trailers one weekend out of the month.

  5. Rose says:

No real squawkers here…but there is a yapper next door. Not as bad as it used to be, but still bad enough.

Mom says bluejays can be pretty squawky and nasty. She has been divebombed by them a few times. Guess there must have been a nest nearby.

I was dive bombed about 45 years ago. I would sometimes go up to the roof of our apartment building to see the view. But once I did it during nesting season one bird had it in for me every time I left the building. Fortunately it was shortly before we left Ithaca to come here.

  7. I bet the one not squawking is tone deaf.
    Coffee is on

  8. yes and they are “yapping” right now…the people over the other side have a “set of poodles” ….

but also this big city is building, building and more building – up and down…and there are closed off places (sign: picture and this footpath closed and arrow pointing over ….); lots of security fencing, and those dam orange cones. Add people people in yellow safety gear trying to keep the walkers from getting into trouble…

Yep mainly politicians. Why do so many of them have to shout rather than speaking in a normal voice?
