When Andy came home last night I asked him how his day went. He made a face, and said, “Uhh…”. Then his face brightened and he said, “But it ended well!”
He had worked on one of the screens for the intake vents and had problems with the wood staples. They were flimsy and he had to (1) straighten the sides so they were perpendicular to the wood surface and (2) drill small holes to guide them in straight. He was going to stop at the hardware store this morning to see if he could get some better ones.
On the other hand, some of his radish seeds sprouted, so the day ended on a happy note.

Hooray for baby radishes. I’m not a fan of them but it’s great to see them sprouting already
Yes, they’re great because they sprout so soon. Watching them sprout and grow is the best part of having a garden, I think.
i’m sitting here with my mouth open in a huge grin! baby radishes have never looked so welcome! LOL! isn’t this exciting!!! XO
Yes!
Wow, that was fast! Hooray for farmer Andy.
Yes. 🙂
I don’t know why it surprises me how quickly things pop up out of the ground, but it does. And it always makes my heart sing.
I feel the same way. 🙂
oh, wow…radishes will be arriving down with you real soon…fabulous result
I don’t care as much about the radishes as seeing them grow. The miracle of life.
Ending well really helps a so-so day. Glad Andy’s radishes are sprouting. Makes me thing about buying some radishes since I have had any for a long time. Home grown is better, though.
I bought some awhile back and enjoyed them, but Andy thought they were too hot. We’ll see if he likes his own better. 🙂
