When Andy harvested these radishes yesterday he thought, “Oh, oh!” They were so big he thought they would be too hot. (The smallest ones were almost an inch in diameter.)
In fact they weren’t hot at all, which pleased us no end. Maybe the cool night temperatures made the difference? If so, we will find out when the weather warms up.

awesome surprise…and fresh from the “ranch garden” π
Yes. π
Roger would be happy with them! I wish I liked them…they are so pretty.
Yes, they are. π
Mom is drooling here. She loves a fresh radish and those look so good.
Woos, Lightning and Misty
The big ones were amazingly mild. A couple of the smaller ones had a bit of spice, but not bad.
they’re beautiful!
I’ve only ever had them in a salad.
maybe he planted a mild kind? I don’t know enough about them to know!
a nice little haul I’d say. π
We’ll have to see when it turns hotter at night. We’re not experts either!
So much bigger than the first ones you pulled. I don’t like radishes but they make me smile, seeing your bowl and knowing how much work and time Andy has devoted to bringing in this crop.
It is a happy picture, isn’t it?
They look beautiful!
Yes!
I like radishes β if they arenβt hot.
You would love these.
I’m not a radish fan but they sure do look good.
Yes. π
