Andy picked the last of the old radishes yesterday.
The interesting thing is the biggest one was sweet and mild, more so than the smaller ones. We’ll try that again.

that’s so fun and fruitful for you both…
Yes!
What a treat to be able to pick your own vegetables this time of year.
We agree. I love the adventure of it, and anything we can eat is an added pleasure.
I love the bite of a radish, we used to pull them and wash off the dirt and eat like apples. daddy always had a garden to feed us.
We like them very mild, and one reason for growing them is they come up fast. That’s neat about your dad’s garden.
wow! you’re getting produce!
nice. 😀
Yes, it’s fun.
We never grew radishes at home and now I wonder why. But then we seldom grew regular peas that I remember. These are pretty to look at…and Roger used to would have enjoyed them His tastes have changed so much I am not sure about now.
We love peas eaten right off the vine. That brings back old memories, both from our garden up on the land years ago, and my mother’s garden from about 75 years ago. Yes, peas have made an impression on me!
Yum! Have you ever tried air frying them? Sliced thin and tossed with a little olive or avocado oil, seasoned with a little garlic salt. They are SO good!

I’m afraid, we like them raw, but that does sound good. 🙂
They look delicious. Sometimes it is hard to find good ones at the store.
I try them from the store once in a while but they mostly haven’t been that fresh and crisp.
I’m ravished by your radishes.
😀
