Once he adjusted the choke, Andy didn’t have any trouble starting the cutter yesterday. He used it for about an hour in the morning, another hour in the afternoon. He says he can cut 10 times as much with the cutter as he can by hand, and it doesn’t hurt his back. Using the hand clippers does, so he wouldn’t be able to keep the defensible space clear of new growth.
If I manage to get the high-altitude jet he will take it and the cutter to Albuquerque to get it installed. Otherwise he will keep using the cutter as is until it has problems.
Fingers crossed!

I am so glad it works and he can use it. I bet he is so glad to be able to use it.
Yes, it’s a great relief.
Andy is the man when it comes to fixing things, so they work…and he understands what needs to be done…sounds like winner for him anyway, saving your back is the key!
Yes!
I’m so glad of the solution. either way… it’s better than it was! xo
A lot better. 🙂
That is wonderful. Hope the cutter keeps cutting!

The savings in time and work will be worth all the trouble.
Yes!
I hope it works out!
Thanks. 🙂
So glad it’s working and for that hard job it’s important to have something that doesn’t hurt his back! Yay for the new brush cutter. Happy dance that it’s working
Thank you! He used it again today for a couple of hours and had no problem.
Glad it worked for him and he liked it. Always nice to have something that is going to make a job easier.
Yes, he really needs something like that now.
Sounds promising so far. Hopefully you can get the special jet as well.
I’ll give the gal a couple of days to get back to me. If she doesn’t I’ll phone again.
