Oh, my gosh, I really enjoyed those videos. Especially the second one. We used to have a lot of squirrels where we used to live and found the easiest way to keep them out of the bird feeders was to give them a ground feeder of their own that we kept stocked with corn. But we had lots of fun trying out different feeders and our favorite was to put a bell feeder in the middle of a clothesline and watch them crawl commando style over the line.
The judge from Alabama gives Rick a 10! All the same, Phantastic Gus won my heart. 🙂 This was both fascinating and hysterical … probably the most enjoyable 21 minutes I’ve spent in months.
That first one I laughed myself silly at Shirley and never gave up there are absolutely adorable and the other one is just as funny and I say just let them do what they’re doing because what could be more fun than sitting and watching squirrel TV to me it would be more fun than watching birds that can easily fly and sit there and eat.
have watched 1.5 of the two – and I would say “kept all the men out from under the feet of the women” – especially at this time… I love how “Shirley showed her non-appreciation” with a very angry tail…
btw no Squirrels in New Zealand, yep that’s right zilch!!!

That’s a great idea…that way you can enjoy the birds and the squirrels too.
Those videos were definitely very fun to watch. With squirrels, where there is a will, there is a way:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
The are talented critters!
I always knew the squirrel would win. They are persistent and clever. They figured this out better than I ever could!
Yes, it was clear what the answer would be. 🙂
We can always try to outsmart them but they are clever little creatures.
Yes. We humans aren’t as smart as we sometimes think. 🙂
Squirrels win…always. I saw that 2nd video on a tv program and still find it fun to watch!
The guy did a great job with the video, it deserves a wide audience. 🙂

I’m glad you loved it too. 🙂

I agree. 🙂
The squirrel brain must be amazing.
Yes, and they are also athletic. Impressive. 🙂
I had just watched that first video the other day. But had not seen the second one! They are anazing.
Yes. 🙂

I know your animals are a lot different than ours! The guys had a good time trying, even if the squirrels did win.
