It is so beautiful there. The golden aspens are amazing. We too have had a number of gorgeous days. Cool at night and delightful during the day. Enjoy every minute of it.
What a wonderful colour! Most of the trees here are still fully in leaf so the autumn colours won’t be in evidence for a while. Usually the leaves start falling early in September.
my Gram always said they are “glorious!”
and she was right.
love them. and love the sound they make in the wind!
and the thought came to my mind… since the horrific fires…
you’re getting to see nature making her gradual come back!
all so wonderful and life affirming really. xo
Simply spectacular! The sun shining through the golden trees is just amazing and I love it! We don’t have any fall colors but we did wake up to 68° today which is absolutely fantastic we have bright sun and 68° going to 76 I think but the humidity is low so it’s gorgeous but not as gorgeous as your pictures

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Yes, this is my favorite time of year. 🙂
the golden leaves of the trees but also the raw beauty of the almost barren landscape…and a beautiful day to boot…
Yes, the raw beauty is part of it too.
Love those leaves on the trees. With the sun shining through them it really shows off their color.
We were there in the best part of the afternoon.

Do you get much fall color? Even without the colors I love the soft light and cool nights.

That’s one reason we decided to stay and not move elsewhere after the fire, we wanted to watch the rejuvenation.
Home. I’m sitting here with (happy) tears in my eyes. Thank you, Jean.
I’m glad you liked it too. 🙂
Wow, wow, wow. And more wow. This looks so much like where I lived in Colorado! Year’s ago. It’s like going home again. Thanks for the aspen glow!!
Yes! Colorado is famous for the aspens in fall.
My husband used to go out west every fall and come home raving about the aspen.
Yes, they put on quite a show. 🙂

Even without the colors I would love fall.
I just saw some Aspens on our trip to Montana. They are so beautiful!
Yes, they can be spectacular… I’m glad you saw them. Where in Montana? Andy was raised in Missoula.
I call it the autumn glow, and fall is just so beautiful it almost hurts! Those aspens are gorgeous!
I know what you mean about so beautiful it almost hurts. 🙂
