It Made Me Laugh

I laughed this morning when I read this.

She generally gave herself very good advice (though she very seldom followed it).

Well, er, yeah. I have been known to do that.

I’m always giving Jenny good advice which she then ignores. And vice versa of course. I never give myself advice, I just make worthy resolutions which I then fail to live up to.

  10. I’ve a particular friend who could do well to follow the advice she regularly gives to me – some of it is just plain stupid – and if she followed it AT all, she would understand!

I think if she was lived in the 18/19th century – she would applied for many patents and they would there in history books now of “what the hell is that for…” or she could be an academic with “wrong theories” and get kudos for making a statement…

it’s alright, I try hard to nod and if she starts insisting on something I say “I’ll think about that…” the last time she was here, she followed it up with a few emails, in the end I replied “thanks for the information” ….
