Andy’s leg is getting better, presumably from the physical therapy. He thought today would be his last session, but his back hurt this morning, so the PT modified one of his new exercises. He’ll go back next week to report on the results.
Anyway, good news. The pain isn’t gone all of the time, but enough to be encouraging.

oh that’s great news…
Yes. 🙂
I always say…. if things are going in “the right direction” that’s at least a positive sign. ~Andrea
I agree!
That’s wonderful news.
Yes. 🙂
Fantastic to read this news.
Yes. 🙂
that is great it is better, maybe the new excercise will make it all better. in 2015 I went to the docotr for knee pain that was causing me to limp and created back problems I was in a lot of pain. he sent me to therapy, and they taught me excerises and the pain went away. i have been doing them 3 to 5 times a week, faithfully. if i don’t do them the pain comes back. so if they say for him to continue them, tell him to keep on doing it…
He plans to!
Hope Andy continues to improve.
Thanks.
I think physical therapy is an unheralded treatment option – it certainly has kept me mobile these past 15 years. And once you’ve learned the exercises you just continue to do them (as MadSnapper attests) and keep the pain at bay and your body is some reasonable semblance of usefulness.
I do a lot of exercises from books to keep me flexible and in good shape. They make a huge difference.
I, too, hope he continues to improve. Hope the adjustment to his exercise got it just right this time.
Fingers crossed!
Every little bit counts, right?
Unsure if y’all subscribe to topical pain reliever ointments — but Voltaren’s turned ‘skeptical me’ into a Believer.
Mostly we don’t use pain relievers, so thanks for the suggestion.
Soooooo wonderful…!!!! Four years ago, I had a terrible time with my knee. So I really appreciate his issues. Soooo wonderful, for the being better!!!!!
Knees are tricky! I assume yours are better now?
I don’t see an email addy, so I will ask here….
In my today’s post (“And now, for something, quite different”—sorry, but I seem to have forgotten the ‘magic’ to leave a click-able link), you commented that; “They won’t have the votes to do it, so don’t fret. “
If the Georgia vote, goes Dem. they WILL have the VOTES. Yes??????
The Democrats aren’t that united, and they lost seats in the House. I’m betting that if they tried something too radical they would get creamed in the midterm elections. I keep thinking of Will Rogers’ response when he was asked if he belonged to an organized party. He said, “No, I’m a Democrat.” 😀
encouraging news!
will keep fingers crossed that it continues to heal. XO
Thank you. 🙂
Glad to hear Andy is improving. I was surprised to learn my lower back problems were actually attributed to my knees. I am a big fan of PT.
I’m a believer too!
Nice to hear good news:) We hope the leg (and the back) continue to improve.
Thank you. 🙂
