I once was tempted to buy a t-shirt that said, “Help! I’m talking and I can’t get stopped!” I don’t do it often but when I do I usually am nervous then say something really stupid. I can immediately think of three instances when I did that.
Years ago my reaction was to turn beet red and not know what to say. That’s at least as bad. 🙂
