We went up to the land yesterday afternoon for a picnic supper and to test my telephoto zoom lens.
From the camera:
Zoomed in with GraphicConverter:
The following photo was taken at a slightly different spot, but it gives a feel for how far away we were.
The new camera and lens passed its test.
More later about the rest of the evening. I’m supposed to give a talk, lead a discussion, about stress hardiness and resilience tomorrow for my monthly Zoom meeting. I still have to figure out what I’m going to say.
It’s one of my favorite subjects, is anyone else interested in things like that?

Your shots are fabulous! The first one, the background land looks like it is straight up vertical!! What kind of Zoom meetings do you have? We do our church services on Zoom.
We’ve been meeting monthly since last October. It’s the group I was in Stanford-in-Germany with in 1960.
looks marvellous and the camera is going to be a bonus for you…maybe the neighbours across the carpark should watch out what they are up in their apartment…
And then your “talk” tomorrow…
🙂
The zoom on that camera is impressive.
It’s better than I expected, and we’re happy about it. 🙂
awesome zoom lens and I now want to take more photos with a dslr. I wish I could visit your mountain top. I am not a seminar person, but am a stressed one. ha ha
Good luck with the stress, I hope it lets up soon.
Yes, I’m interested! Are any of these available to view online?
