Taking Down the Tree

I don’t have any pictures of Andy putting the Christmas tree up, or down, by himself, but I do have these from January 1, 2018 of Kaitlin and Tempi helping him.

There are a few more pictures here on Flickr.

a dangerous job! but Tempi helped! XOXO

  2. when I saw the title I thought “what…Andy just put it up” – but when I opened it up…”not so”

Yikes, this looks scary. But you have the prettiest ladder I have ever seen.

  4. Hootin' Anni says:

Tempi is glad they’re safe and back on the ground!!

you KNOW which pictures are my favorites,. I love the photos of her climbing with the tree. special memories here for sure…. who knew dogs could climb ladders… your flicker made me laugh long and loud..

  6. Kaitlin looks like she’s done this once or twice! (*grin*) Wish I were so sure of myself on a ladder. Even as brave as Tempi!

  7. Rose says:

First of all, still chuckling at yesterday’s post….then to go to flickr and see Tempe climbing the ladder….he is such a helpful dog!

  8. nick says:

Perhaps Andy could rig up some sort of hoist that would lift the tree from ground level to the roof (and lower it again)? Clambering around the roof looks distinctly hazardous.

  9. Ann Thompson says:

I could do Kaitlin’s job or Tempi’s but no way could I get up on that roof. Looks like Tempi was the job supervisor.

I wouldn’t even do Kaitlin’s part. I’m shaky on ladders and don’t need to wrestle with a tree while I’m coming down. Hats off to them all. 🙂
