Day Five

With any luck this is their last full day, only a couple of hours tomorrow. Their furniture is supposed to come between tomorrow and the 28th if I remember correctly. I think they’ve ordered a guest bed that’s supposed to come tomorrow, but I could be wrong and shipments can be delayed, especially this time of year. The main thing is to get there.

Andy and I are impressed…we would be overwhelmed if we had to do something like this. Yay, Kaitlin and Torben! And Tempi and Zoe!

I am overwhelmed just thinking about the trip and the move and new jobs, but then I am old and things don’t go as smoothly as they used to. i moved here to Florida in a small pickup truck, with everything I owned and 200 cash from my dad and I did it.. would not wan to do that again

look at Zoe! adorable and sound asleep. they are the best travelling pups!
this will certainly be a Christmas to remember! XO

  4. I guess, as they are often tripping in the car – they are used to snoozing… but I suspect everyone will be glad to have firm ground under their feet and at least a place to sleep, let’s hope the humans have a bed!

I don’t like taking the 1/2 hour drive to get to the nearest big city so I would definitely be overwhelmed by this drive. I can imagine that they will be very happy to reach their destination.

I’m with you, but they handle these long trips well. Last July they drove four days to get here and four days to get back home. At least they’ll be staying in California for a while. 🙂

    Too sweet!
I can’t believe it’s been almost 4 years when I got the cockeyed notion to move cross country — and things progressed faster than I imagined. No way would I want to do it again!

I cannot even stand the thoughts of doing what they are doing…but probably could have managed at their age. I will be glad to hear they have arrived.
