What ending pops into your mind when you read those words?
makes you stronger.
or
mutates and tries again.
I have to admit, I laughed when I read the second version, and that’s the one that comes up first for me.
Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.

The second one, for sure.
🙂
I grew up being told the first one. so I tend to think that way.
but this pandemic omicron mutating thing is making me wonder.
the truth for me is… the older I get the less I seem to really KNOW about anything!
It’s best to be humble. 🙂
agree with tammy – I do not feel in the least bit strong of late!
What doesn’t kill you is all thanks to COVID vaccines! Okay, I’m trying to be funny. It’s not working.
Actually, that’s not too bad! They’ve just approved the second booster, and Andy and I have been waiting for our doctor to get permission for us. It’s been about seven months since we had our first one. Fingers crossed for us all. 🙂
The second one is really funny, and gave me a good laugh! I am hoping to remember it to tell other people!
😀
the first one I started to hear Kelly Clarksons song, of this same name. Both of them are sure true for me… the last one is funny and we all need to laugh..
😀
Well the only one I’ve ever heard is the first one. The second one is funny though and I think I like that one better.
The last quote is good and so true.
🙂
What about
What doesn’t kill you leaves you feeling so weak and weary you almost wish it had?
There is that. 😀
I prefer the second, simple b/c it makes me laugh. Shaw had it right — don’t we all need more laughter in our lives?
I consciously try to put more in…it’s one of the best uses of our time, I think.
I love the Shaw quote.
🙂
Oh, the mutate one! Made me laugh then made Dave laugh.
We laughed too. 😀
