Last Wednesday Andy said he was worried the cold snap would kill the daffodils that had come up in the old greenhouse area. In fact only about 10% of them were affected, so he’s been bringing back regular bouquets. He brought the above bunch home last night, but that’s the end of those for the year. We’ll now have to wait for the ones starting to bloom down in the orchard.
We do love daffodils.

I always bunch a the first daffodils I see in the spring.

I finally saw daffodils blooming in my yard and then it snowed on them.
That’s always a danger. I hope they recovered.
They are beautiful, I like the variety. Yours must be quite healthy and sturdy!
I’m glad they survived. 🙂
