Our Precious Plum
Another thing we did last Saturday was share our plum harvest. Andy had picked it earlier in the day.
It was only one, and only a couple of inches long, but it was very tasty…Andy managed to pick it just right. We’re hoping for a few more next year.
Some of the simplest things can bring the most pleasure.
Sigh. The plum tree looked like it was coming back from the fire when Andy started watering it, but Wednesday he brought home the sad news — it had died.
R.I.P. little tree.

The story of our life up there. 🙂
All the sweeter because there was only one.
Yes. I’m so glad we had it. 🙂
So sorry to hear that.
Thanks.
I’m sorry. That’s not the sort of ending y’all were hoping for.
It shouldn’t have been a surprise given our history up there. 🙂
Aww, that is too bad. Not for lack of trying, though. Now Andy can start a new project with a new plum tree.
If all goes well he will plant two next year, one in each location.
RIP for sure
