I went up to the land with Andy Sunday… the big nasturtium is doing great:
And the second one is starting to grow.
We want three so he’s planted the last two seeds in the warming tray, and if they don’t germinate he will try some of the new packet he has ordered from Amazon.
The lettuce is also thriving. We harvest some almost every day.
And the corn is getting taller. We don’t know if we will ever harvest any, but it’s fun to watch.
There are a few more pictures here on Flickr.

The nasturtium is such a beautiful plant. I agree, it is fun to watch plants and see what develops…
🙂
I hope you get some stunning flower colours from the nasturtiums – some of them are solid whilst others are often variegated.
And yes, watching nature doing it’s thing is always a plus…
Thanks. 🙂
Everything is looking good.
Wade used to buy tons of corn on the cob every year. I’ve hardly bought any in the last few years. It’s good but I’m not the big fan that he was.
This was a bad year at the grocery store for corn. The season was a lot shorter than in previous years.
How I’d love to come gather some fresh lettuce with y’all!
There is plenty to go around. 🙂
everything looks fab from here. the lettuce, or i think it is lettuce in the other photos is beautiful. love the nasturnium.. sweet corn, i do love it
🙂
sustained winds now at 10:30 gusting to 69..
Hopefully the worst will be over soon. 🙁
