It’s About Time?

So far Andy and I have never been tested for Covid. We’ve had all five shots, don’t mix with people much, and always wear masks and try to social distance when we go to stores. But the government is trying to make it so simple to order in-home tests that I decided to order the four they offer our household.

If you are interested, click on the picture to go to the government site. Or else click here to order directly from the postal service.

I ordered from the postal service and they say they will start shipping tomorrow. Hopefully we won’t need the tests, but the government makes it so easy I figured it’s a good idea to have them.

I got two free ones a while back but never had the need to use them. I suppose it’s nice to have them around just in case though. Thanks for sharing the link

will be ordereing mine, I planned on hunting up the link. I saw the ad on tv and need to replace the one I used. got the two free ones way back when they offered them, both are about to expire. its good to have then on hand. they are easy to use

  3. I just used one of those free tests yesterday! We have an outbreak on campus with 5 employees and two residents getting Covid and getting quarantined. I could have gotten one from our management but I worried about getting exposed to the person who gives does the tests because she sure would be ripe to get Covid from one of the people she tested. Scary world out here.

  4. Thanks for this reminder! I just checked those we received last year and two (out of 4) have expired.

I had to have a professional test before my recent surgery. It was less invasive than I thought it would be.

Dave has used the home tests but I have not. Ours expired before he used all of them so we should probably get more.

I just used your link and ordered, thank you! Vaccinated people are now getting Covid, though it does not turn really serious.

  7. twice now, I’ve written a reply and then hit some key – and it’s gone.

What is the stance in the USA if you test positive?

A lot of people test positive, but don’t report it to health authorities rather they just go about in their own selfish way – too bad about who is vulnerable. Here there a layers of rules that one should follow if you’ve “positive”

I’m mindful where I mask up – but also I’m a big user of sanitizer when I’m out and about – plus I have wet wipes if I feel something more is required.

I’m not sure what the rules are, but if the home test says we have it we will talk to our doctor to see if we need the more official one and if we should start talking anitvirals.
