They’re not quite done yet, but almost. The plow slipped off the road and needed to be rescued with the dozer:
They did a great job making the road wide in case we get more snow:
And the Jeep came back to town (along with the plow):
More tomorrow.

I bet a lot of people when they saw the jeep on the recovery vehicle – thought that whoever was driving that – should not have, no experience with snow 🙂 never mind the fact it’s “broken/sick insides” rather than bad driving…
Well, the problems may be because someone, with a lot of experience with snow, tried to pull it though a snowdrift.
I am not enjoying your trials with your jeep but having a blast watching them deal with the trials with the jeep. I love watching heavy equipement work, anywhere and this is new to me and very interesting
Yes, interesting to watch. 🙂
I’m guessing these fellows have done this sort of recovery before. Hopefully, all’s well that ends well!
Orlando and Dave live down in the valley and haven’t had experience with this much snow. And, based on roadwork in good weather, Andy thought the plow and backhoe would be enough. Now they all know the big dozer is the way to go. They learned a lot.
Good that the have all the heavy equipment to do all this. Nice to see the jeep home again.
Yes. 🙂
It looks like such a dangerous job! But it is good that you are able to get out if you need to now.
We’re impressed by Orlando with big machines. We would never try it!
That plow perhaps needs to be retired. It doesn’t seem to do well.
It was too light for most of the work. Andy said it was good for smoothing the road.
They did a great job.
🙂
Great work by all!!! We hope the snow there holds off for a while. We got a little bit yesterday, We thought it would be gone today, but the temps are so cold that it isn’t melting YET:). As you can imagine, the pups are thrilled.
Yes, I can imagine the pups loving it. 🙂
