To be interested in the changing seasons is β¦ a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with spring.
-βGeorge Santayana
Amen to that. My version is still,
Stay curious and open to life. No matter what happens keep learning and growing. Find what you love and find a way to share it with others.
If that isn’t a good recipe for life at all ages, I don’t know what is.

Well I’ve been “given” an idea or two. M who is H’s son (11yrs old) found a type of art that he thought I should try – and a uTube link was sent this morning. Ooops down a rabbit hole looking into it … more information later when I’ve give it try.
I’m looking forward to reading about it. π
I am curious to a fault. If I were in school now, I would be training for a photog reporter, I met a really cool one and she is curious also… of course it does kill cats, LOL
I love being curious and am glad you are too. π
I’m hopelessly in love with Autumn and Winter … so Santayana’s caution is timely. Yours is still better!
π
Yes, we can find the beauty in each season if we are aware to it!
π
I’m doing a better job of keeping my brain agile than I am of keeping my body agile. π
π
Totally agree with your version. Curiousity trumps all.
It’s a blessing. π
I am definitely interested in the changing seasons. I am a bit curious at times too.
π
I love the seasons except Winter.
There will be a rare day or so when I find it lovely.
Sometimes at night it can even be magical
but mostly I hate it.
I guess Iβm very curious because I research absolutely everything.
I donβt make a decision on almost anything without lots of research
And I too, will fall down that rabbit hole.
I actually love winter, because I usually don’t have to go out in it if I don’t want to. I love rabbit holes, they’re good for my mental health. π
